The Event

What is the Leuven Case Competition?

The Leuven Case Competition is a business game based in Belgium where students are challenged to solve real-life business problems in the format of a competition. The competition consists of a Selection Round where students will solve 1 case and the Final Case Day where the top 50 teams are challenged to solve 3 more cases provided by our exclusive partners.

The Selection Round takes place in 4 of Belgium’s biggest student cities, namely Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and Leuven. During the Selection Round students are challenged to solve the first case and pitch their solutions to a professional jury.

The Final Case Day takes place in Leuven. On this day, students will tackle 3 more cases provided by 3 top-notch partnering companies. During the Final Case Day, all finalists can expect a full day of case solving, networking and most of all, having fun!

Challenge yourself

Step out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself to tackle real-life business problems. The LCC is a great learning opportunity to get insight into the way business is conducted.

Develop your skills

Participating in a case competition is a great way to develop new and build on old skills. Skills like problem solving, logical thinking, creative design, presenting, negotiating, persuasion etc will all come up in one form or another.

Expand your network

LCC is an ideal platform to meet new and like-minded people. Our best advice: you may be bitter rivals for one day, but you could be friends for a lifetime. Have fun!

How do I apply?

It takes teamwork to tackle our challenges. Therefore, assemble your team of 4 and showcase your skills together. Alternatively, sign up as a team of 2 and we will pair you with another duo. Diversity is key to tackling any problem and many LCC winners were teams consisting of students with diverse backgrounds. Therefore, no background in business or economics is required to participate in the Leuven Case Competition. However, you do need to be a third bachelor or master student.
